I LOVE reds! ❤️🧡 It’s confident, it’s powerful, it’s stunning.
But I always make sure my ladies know what they’re signing up for.
1. It’s high maintenance.
You will see me more often and your home care really matters. Red isn’t a “twice a year” colour. It needs love. ❤️
2. It fades. Fast.
Red molecules are bigger, which means they don’t sit in the hair as deeply as other shades. So yes… it will fade quicker than your blonde or brunette.
3. Hot showers have to go.
I’m sorry 😅
But cool rinses genuinely make a difference in keeping that richness.
4. Sun, sea, pool…
If you’re always in the water or love being in the sun, just know your red will soften much quicker. It doesn’t mean don’t do it, just means we plan for it.
